- Tasting Notes: Impressively rich on the nose once more, this sweet dessert delight is packed with fig jam, honey, plum reduction, sweet caramel candies and a rich, creamy note. The palate is viscous, layered, full of life. I appreciate the gentle integration of tannin on these older, IN/KY blends of American whiskey and they make for a perfect canvas for finishing. The RdC shines one again, layering in sweetness, a hint of oak, rich praline, creme brulee and a touch more fig jam. Lovely stuff.
