About The Selection:

Back in October 2022, the Mash and Journey whiskey club sat down with Will Shragis of Barrell Craft Spirits and some fellow patrons to pick our first ever single barrel with them.

Of course we found a short barrel which ended up being a blended whiskey finished in a Sercial Madeira Barrel that brought some crazy flavors! Of course we couldn't stop there so we grabbed an Oloroso sherry barrel finished blend as well that was full of raisin, chocolate and sweetness.

These are the last two releases for the year 2022! What a year it was! Hope some of you can add this to your M&J collection and enjoy them to ring in the new year!

Barrell Private Release Whiskey CQ09 - Finished in an Oloroso Sherry Barrel

Proof: 121.74
Age: 6 to 18 year blend of Corn Whiskey, Indiana Whiskey, and Kentucky Bourbon and Rye
Yield: 38.67 cases (232 bottles)

Palate - Dark fruit, nuttiness, a little sherry funk, this sticks to your palate and finishes with pepper, nuttiness and burst of chocolate.
