- Tasting Notes: Butterscotch and clove pop first on the nose in this viscous rye. Really nice oak coming through, paired well with rye spice, apple butter, caramel and clove. The palate is really rich, pleasant viscosity that's a touch heavier than the bourbon. The proof is nowhere to be found, despite being over 60% ABV, an easy drinker that's sneaky, to say the least. Long finish, maple, tobacco, barrel char, honey and vanilla icing linger on the finish with a final punch of rye spice. Decadent.
