Back in August of 2022, The Mash and Journey Whiskey Club was lucky enough to be offered 1 of only 18 single barrels from Found North! Found North took a unique approach in creating their single barrel selections by creating a blend of 12yr rye, 19yr rye and 21yr corn. They recasked that blend into 18 different barrels of various types, char levels and wood species and further matured them for 8+ months. Our single barrel, Barrel 8, was aged in Level 3 char new American oak. It is non-chill filtered, no additives and cask strength at 115.8 proof. We are so excited to share this bottle with everyone!

NOSE: Toasted Oak, brown sugar, hint of smoke and rye spice and cinnamon

PALATE: Pancakes, maple syrup, molasses,
graham cracker, pillsbury cinnamon rolls with the icing, hint of citrus emerges and a very long finish!
