- Tasting Notes: A synthesis of fruit and spice, this bourbon reminds me starkly of warm apple butter, brown sugar, maple and all the great parts of a home made apple pie. The nose combines warm pastry, clover honey, a touch of nutmeg and cinnamon, rich maple and a warm, brown butter richness. The palate is soft at first, light on oak, and grows in body and dryness as you sip. Heavy on maple, fuji apple, a touch of vanilla bean ice cream and a nougaty texture on the palate. Finish is long, a touch drying, pleasant and full of sweet oak and brown sugar.
