• Tasting Notes: Whew - pound cake, cinnamon, brown butter and brown sugar slam into your olfactory on first smell, blending sweet, savory and tannin. Rye spice and tannin holds Amburana in suspension, well balanced as the spice, toffee and brown sugar lean to balance the herbal rye, ginger and pinch of dill and pepper. Bold and viscous on the palate, the proof is nowhere to be found. Blackberry, currant and a hint of bitters pop as the pour opens up, adding a light fruit element along with the herbal rye, heavy Amburana and plentiful brown sugar.
