• Tasting Notes: While Dark integrates some really unique characteristics: fruit and bitters to pair with amburana's signature cinnabon and amburana notes, this barrel paints inside the lines with tannin, amburana and rye character. Brown sugar and anise greet the nose, packed full of maple, vanilla icing, caramel candies and a touch of cocoa. The palate is rich and full of rye spice, a touch of herbal character, brown sugar, pepper, clove, a light touch of graham cracker. The finish carries long and heavy, packed with baking spice, brown sugar, spice drops, heavy oak and sweet butter cream. This one sticks around in a big way.
