This release was distilled in 2016, and while the exact source is not published, Preservation has said it comes from a traditional corn\/rye\/malted barley mashbill.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan data-originalfontsize=\"16px\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\"\u003eNotes: The nose is packed with brown sugar, vanilla, brown butter which gives off bake shop vibes. As you dive deeper you pick up clove and a cinnamon raisin bread scent. This is an impressive nose packed with layers that compliment each other perfectly. The first sip carries forward the bakery notes, dare I say brown sugar bomb, while adding in an aged oak sweetness. The whiskey immediately has my tastebuds tingling and my mouth salivating, which happens only when I drink something special. The second sip brings out dark cherry and black walnut with the vanilla and caramel sweetness. The finish is where the proof will make itself known with baking spice and oak sweetness that goes on and on.
