Single Cask #3 - Aficionados Cask Selection

Release #1 - Aged for 14 Months in highly toasted virgin French Oak casks in a humid climate.

  • ABV: 69.6% ABV
  • Cane: Java Varietal
  • Region: Santa Maria Tlalixtac, Oaxaca
  • Harvest: 2,500-3,800ft Above Sea Level
  • Fermentation: 10 days in Pine Tanks, Ambient Yeast
  • Distilled by: Rommel Krassel
  • Distillation: Double distilled, 300 liter copper alambique still
  • Aged: 14 Months heavy toast virgin French Oak
  • Yield: 112 Liters pulled for Release #1, remainder left for additional aging
  • Bottled: January 2023
  • Tasting Notes: Vibrant and bright with a funky underbelly: maple and rich french oak pop on the nose, loaded with pepper and clove, ABV sneaks by despite approaching 70% ABV. Heavy spice and a touch of industrial diesel funk complements a beautiful maple body. There's nothing like it.
  • The first of two releases from this cask. Release #2 features extended aging.

No water, color, sugar added. Bottled at cask strength.
