- T8ke's Tasting Notes: Beautiful and nuanced, this single barrel is anything but pure oak and it's full of caramel candies, sweet cream, cracked pepper, pleasant oak, waffle cone, a pop of berry and tobacco. The nose has quite a bit going on. The palate is moderate viscosity on the palate, viscous and satisfying without a tannic bite or drying sensation: butterscotch, brown butter, tobacco and maple settle together into a long finish that's decadent and desserty all day with a pop of pepper.
