Tasting Notes:

The nose has this rich and dense oak that leads the way, backed by bright orange zest, dark cherry, and a healthy layer of rye spice. There’s a really nice baked-dessert quality underneath it all, somewhere between raw cookie dough, an oatmeal cream pie, and a cinnamon roll with vanilla frosting. A little honey and brown sugar round it out, giving the nose plenty of sweetness without ever losing that mature oak.

The palate is a flavor bomb from the second it hits the tongue. Orange zest, cherry, cookie dough, and brown sugar come through immediately, with the sweetness and rye spice playing off each other before that rich, charred oak starts taking over through the transition. As it gets darker, the cherry deepens into more of a dark berry note alongside cola and chocolate, almost like a dark chocolate-covered cherry cordial flavored cola.  The finish is relentless, with dark cherry, chocolate, mature oak, and rye spice hanging around seemingly forever, and the cherry and cola in particular continuing to reappear long after the sip is gone.
