- T8ke's Tasting Notes: Spicy and fun, the nose on this bleeds pepper and ginger at first with honey, toffee, nougat, cream and vanilla pudding, bringing in butterscotch and creme brulee notes alongside. The palate is oaky and complex, less rich but more layered, the proof does well here but is a little underrepresented; there's loads of dessert, pleasant oak, waffle cone, honey, butterscotch, rich tobacco and nougat. It's easy drinking and balanced, spicy then sweet, dry then savory, really really nice. Long finish, oakier and full of butterscotch, toffees, caramels and baking spice with a pop of pepper.
