The additional three years in the barrel have transformed this whiskey into something remarkably complex and layered. All those familiar characteristics of the sweet potato mash are still there, but the added maturity brings a depth and sophistication we didn't anticipate. At times, it almost drinks like a marriage between sweet potato whiskey and a beautifully aged high-rye bourbon. There's an unexpected spice character, a more pronounced oak presence, and just enough tannic grip from those 11 years in char four barrels to bring everything together.

Nose: Brown sugar, freshly baked sweet potato pie, vanilla, toasted oak, and a touch of bright citrus.

Palate: Pumpkin pie, blood orange, vanilla cream, and rich brown sugar give way to clove, allspice, sweet oak, and a beautifully integrated rye-like spice. The sweetness is balanced by a mature oak presence that adds structure without overpowering the whiskey.

Finish: Exceptionally long and evolving, with lingering baking spices, vanilla, sweet oak, and a gentle dryness that keeps you coming back for another sip.

The name is a clear nod to  Mötley Crüe's "Home Sweet Home"; we're calling this one "Home Sweet Potato Home". After all, a whiskey this good deserves a spot in your home this holiday season.
