  • T8KE's Tasting Notes: The density and layers of these ryes always boggles me in the best way. Powerful, heavy, loaded with black pepper, plum, punchy pepper, toffee, fat brown sugar, syrupy dark fruit and a hint of cola and espresso. I notice less herbal character here vs our previous ryes (especially the 10, what a jump!) yet there isn’t overbearing barrel character/char. Pepper, brown sugar, plum, cola and coffee all jump. Lovely oak. Long, fat, rich, chewy finish that holds and holds and holds.
