The palate is satisfying, rich, layered, full of notes here. It has the tannin and complexity and structure of a whiskey, it leans a touch sweeter with notes like caramel corn, candied orange, a hint of apple butter, the sweet potato note pops for a second with spice, pepper, cinnamon and the mouthfeel is stellar. Long finish, a touch drier here, blending spice, oak and sweet for a long finish.
