Finish: This 9-barrel blend was aged for 11 years in once used bourbon barrels and finished in freshly dumped chocolate bitters barrels for 7 months.

Tasting Notes: A chocolatey glow coats the glass in a clear syrupy sheen that melts to many long thin plunging legs. This whiskey is definitively chocolate but heavily supported by cream, like very airy whipped milk chocolate. There's juicy delicious milk chocolate, with swirls of cream and vanilla laid right on top of light but delicious juicy oak tannin. As the cacao intensity of the bouquet settles, the whiskey transitions more to a chocolate candy coating and nougat note with hints of rye spice like clove, allspice and cinnamon. This whiskey lands sweet with chocolate present but supporting rye notes until initially taking back over the palate to send you out with spice and chocolate on the breath.
