Batch 006 Second Summit 18 Year Cask Strength Whisky
When we bottled Batch 006 we held back 500 liters of the blend for further maturation in a Spanish Oak Pedro Ximénez Sherry Butt.
The original Batch 006 blend was composed of 5 component whiskies ranging from 17-26 years. With an extra 8 months in the sherry butt, Second Summit earned an 18 yr age statement.
The resulting whisky presents grape jam on a graham cracker with hints of dark chocolate and lovely pine needles, baked brown sugar cookie, and candied cashews.
