We’ve been lucky enough to work with Jonathan Maisano for a long time, and if you know anything about him, you know he’s regarded as one of the best blenders in the world. But what truly sets Jonathan apart, and what makes these barrels so special, is his gift for finding. His ability to seek out and select the most unique and distinctive foods and spirits, and to truly connect with their flavors.

These two releases of both this bourbon, and the rye also available now, are stunning examples of that gift. No tasting note we put on paper is going to do them real justice. The only way to understand what we’re talking about is to grab one, sip and taste for yourself. These are limited, and we feel genuinely fortunate to share them with our 2TEN90 Patreon family. We consider Jonathan a good friend, and we couldn’t be more proud to put these in your hands.

The Bourbon:

The nose hits with barrel char up front, followed by baking spice and a hint of dark chocolate.

Butterscotch, chocolate, and cream pudding follow on the palate. Deep, rich, decadent and dense like a perfectly baked German Chocolate Cake. Dark fruits with a touch of spice round out the long, chewy finish.

As this opens up, it continues to exude new flavors and smells, pulling you back in for more.  An elegant and refined bourbon at its best.
