Lost Lantern hand-selected this cask from St. Augustine Distillery in St. Augustine, Florida, the oldest city in the United States. The distillery is a pioneer in making bold and bright whiskey in a humid, subtropical climate while celebrating the bounty of the sunshine state.

This wheated straight bourbon whiskey was aged for 5 years in a 53-gallon barrel in the subtropical heat. It was made with 60% Florida-grown corn, 18% Florida-grown wheat, and 22% malted barley. big and bold, with notes of dark chocolate cherries on the nose and chocolate cake, vanilla frosting, toasted grain, and rich, powerful oak on the palate. It is our first release from St. Augustine and from Florida.
