T8KE's Tasting Notes: Big and silky, this cask is a viscous, chewy, monster that’s full of maple, pancakes, buttery sweetness, toffee, graham crackers, blueberry, honey and cherry with a lovely spice undertone. There’s ample balancing oak, bringing structure, tannin and spice to balance the decadent and opulent sweetness. The proof is sneaky for a touch under 140 and there’s plenty going on without it being a self-induced teargas experience. Long finish, decadent swetness, wood and fruits combine for a perfect pour as frosts set in.
