  • Tasting Notes: Spicy on the nose, this orange marmalade, pepper, caramel and cream sweetness bomb is a spritely welcome. Trying this side by side with our single barrel bourbon pick of the same day was really night and day. The palate is all caramel candies and nougat, hints of orange, baking spice, light floral notes and a hefty punch of butterscotch swoops in. At almost 60%, it's not pulling any punches and the viscosity on the palate is dreamy. Long finish, heavier on the spiced fruits and caramel once again. Where our upcoming single barrel bourbon zigs with heavy cream, maple and tobacco, this barrel zags with that floral and fruit character on the nose and a spicy palate with butterscotch throughout. Really cool experiment here.
