- T8ke's Tasting Notes: Graham cracker and cola pop immediately on the nose, loaded with rich baking spice, cinnamons, toffee, waffle cone and sweet, decadent, desserts. There's plentiful oak, it's integrated nicely and brings a bold structure to the dessert character. Palate is rich and layered, somewhere between a desserty MGP dream and the extraction and heaviness of our past MF C&C releases. Luxardo cherry, rich baking spice, toffee and graham cracker dance with pepper, honey, a hint of cinnamon again. Long finish, ends pleasantly with tons of dessert, spice and balanced oak. Sneaky at the proof. Little too oak forward for a citrus bourbon cocktail but this release crushes in both an Old Fashioned and Manhattan but be sure to ratio adjust for the fact that this barrel is 64% ABV hah.
