Incredibly rich nose, bursting with toffee, slate, barrel char and a touch of ash, sweet brulee and a hint of butter cream. The palate is viscous and layered, weaving together light ash, pleasant peat integration, slate and bursts of toffee and caramel, brulee and honey, a faint tropical fruit influence and a final pinch of peat smoke. Long, complex finish that carries and carries, fresh peat at first, closing out with decadent dessert, graham cracker and caramelized sugar.
