- T8KE's Tasting Notes: Powerful and bold on the nose - this is a decadent, layered, dessert forward pour with plenty of spice and oak to back it up. Far less berry on this release compared to our first release the medium toast brings in buttery sweetness and plenty of structure. The nose if full of warm baking spice, cinnamon cream, toffee and brown butter, a hint of dark fruits and date and big oak. The palate is silky again - these have such a great viscosity on the palate, loaded with brulee, toffee, a hint of dates and blackberry with big creamy vanilla, a touch of nougat and lovely brown sugar with some toasted oak and graham cracker. Long, viscous, oak driven finish that marries together sweet and spice.
