- T8ke's Tasting Notes: Big spice punches first: cracked pepper, rye spice, a hint of ginger and herbal punch from the rye meets lovely, rich, creme brulee, cocoa and cola notes - it's decadent and layered. Cola, blackberry and stewed fruits meets a touch of fig and rich oak to balance the spice of the rye. It doesn't have the fake fudginess I sometimes find in double oaked releases, replaced instead with rich caramels, vanilla, a hint of espresso and cola to pair with plentiful oak and a balanced spiciness.
