Reveries 10 Year Single Barrel

"Ten"

Almost exactly to the day of the anniversary of Def Leppard's X album, which serves as both the inspiration behind the name and logo, we are ecstatic to release Ten. Ten is one of the two exceptional ten-year barrels we selected that day alongside Dram Warriors. Both were outstanding, but Ten immediately carved out its own identity.

The nose is gorgeous from the very first pour. Notes of creamy chocolate and caramel nougat instantly bring to mind the notes of a Milky Way bar, layered with rich confectionery sweetness crossed with oak and a kiss of sawdust.  It just smells refined before you even take a sip.

On the palate, those chocolate notes deepen into rich dark cocoa while the caramel nougat continues to follow the nose. What makes this bourbon so compelling, however, is how balanced it is. Rather than leaning entirely into dessert-like sweetness, it has just as prominent a tannic oak presence reminiscent of the drying structure of a bold red wine. That slight puckering quality keeps every sip fresh, layered, and inviting.

A gentle rye spice emerges late on the finish, adding yet another layer that complements the sweeter flavors. Like its sibling barrel, Ten delivers an incredibly viscous mouthfeel. Thick, chewy, and packed with texture, it leaves long, elegant legs in the glass and an even longer finish on the palate.

This one's a banger, folks. If you liked Dram Warriors, get ready for Ten to rock your world!
