  • T8ke's Tasting Notes: 
    • Nose:  Rich and broad, bold, fat: honeyed apples, black cherry, blackberry and bitters, toffee and rich balsamic, heavy oak, fat toffee and rich flan. 
    • Palate:  Dense and rich, heavy, layered palate and mouthfeel. Loaded with caramels, black pepper, defined oak, caramels and blackberry reduction, a touch of ango and cola, a hint of char and gobs of oak, root beer, waffle cone and fresh pastries, tobacco and toffee. 
    • Finish: Long finish; prickle of spice from the first release fades, giving way to sweet, rich, oak, blackberry and luxardo cherry, cocoa and a hint of espresso, butter cream and rich, baking spice and more oak.  
    • Overall: A whiskey for the dawn.
